Inspired by the words of this magical poem
“A Simply Complicated Story”

Wading through the forest
one sunny night,
I spy a flower hiding
in broad daylight.
It’s petals of satin
were roughly adorned
in brilliant new velvet
all tattered and worn.
It’s stem rigid and straight
as a crooked mountain trail,
with a posture so curved
it stood proud and prevailed.
This perfectly imperfect
vision reflected,
the thoughts i have thought
of hearts resurrected.
A winding, long journey
of trying to find
a life yet ahead
and so far behind.
With roots that run deep
and life giving air,
leading to needing
you always be near.
